Personal accounts are based on trips described by Torimonn. Information about opening times, transport and booking is checked separately through official sources. A visit date and an information-check date refer to different things.
What we have not tried
We label untested ideas and do not present unvisited hotels, unused services or suggested itineraries as firsthand reviews. Personal impressions of heat, waiting or journey length are not measurements or guarantees.
AI assistance
AI supports research, organisation and English editing. It does not create fictional visits, quotes or customer experiences.
Photos
We prioritise photographs from our own trips. Published images exclude children. We do not use AI-generated destination photographs as evidence of a visit.
Bookings and affiliate links
Where a page includes affiliate links, it will explain that we may earn a commission from a booking or purchase. Readers should check current availability, eligibility and terms with the booking provider. Our account of a purchase in Japan does not establish that the same booking can be made from overseas.
Updates
Travel conditions change. We distinguish updated planning information from the original visit account and identify information we have not confirmed. Official sources are linked where relevant.
