Japan Detour Notes is a travel site by Torimonn, a Japan-based traveller. It shares personal experiences and practical planning notes, starting with Shizuoka and the surrounding region.

Our first account follows an Oigawa Railway outing: a train from Shin-Kanaya, a footbath at Kawane Onsen, and Thomas on the return journey. It includes what stood out and what required more planning.
